Our Process

Our Contemporary Interior Design Process

Initial Consultation & Collaboration

01

Initial Consultation & Collaboration

We begin by understanding how the kitchen supports your life now — and how you want it to support you going forward. We talk through how you cook, gather, and move through the space.

We align on your preferred level of involvement, maintaining open communication and sharing the reasoning behind each recommendation.

Concept Development

02

Concept Development

Here, contemporary design principles take shape. We develop layouts that prioritize flow, cabinetry strategies that reduce visual noise, and material palettes chosen for their balance, texture, and endurance.

Lighting and storage are integrated into the architecture of the kitchen, shaping a space that feels cohesive, calm, and purposeful.

Design Execution

03

Design Execution

The approved concept is refined into a complete, build-ready interior design. Layouts, materials, finishes, lighting plans, custom elements, and furnishings are finalized, supported by detailed drawings and coordination.

Every element is considered for how it functions today and how it will age over time.

Project Management & Coordination

04

Project Management & Coordination

We manage logistics by coordinating timelines, contractors, and vendors for you.

Our goal is to bring your contemporary kitchen design to life accurately and efficiently, protecting quality, your budget, and the integrity of the vision for the project.

Final Reveal

05

Final Reveal

Once installation is complete, we carefully place and style every element within the space, ensuring each detail is considered and composed.

The result is a contemporary interior that feels clear, grounded, and enduring — designed to support everyday life while remaining relevant for years to come.

    about image2

    Valerie Goldin-Remm

    Founder & Principal Designer

Valerie believes that a home should do more than just look beautiful; it should nourish the soul. Guided by the principle that our surroundings directly influence our well-being, she focuses on creating environments that support the daily lives and mindsets of those within them. Her approach relies on observing how people move through their world, ensuring each design supports their natural rhythms and habits.

Before co-founding Atelier CV, Valerie spent a decade as an international model collaborating with global luxury brands. This period of extensive travel and immersion in the fashion industry sharpened her eye for craftsmanship, proportion, and how light and texture shape a room’s atmosphere. She integrated these perspectives into her design practice after completing her studies at the New York School of Interior Design.

By focusing on the relationship between a space and its inhabitants, Valerie creates interiors that feel both current and enduring. Her work is defined by an intentionality that transforms a residence into a sanctuary so that every room is a genuine reflection of how one wants to live.
